SUMMER CAMP RETREAT 05 PRAYER GUIDE

SUNDAY, JULY 3rd

Jesus, we desire to know what it is to live a joy-filled life.  We pray that through the youth summer camp retreat that we would better understand how to 1)know You & believe You, 2)glorify You, 3)find satisfaction in You, 4)experience Your peace, and 5)enjoy Your presence.  We pray that the speaker’s… “message and preaching not [be] with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that [the] faith [of those who hear] might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.  (1 Corinthians 2:4-5) AMEN

MONDAY, JULY 4th

Lord, we celebrate our country’s freedom and pray 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  AMEN

TUESDAY, JULY 5t

Lord, I pray that you clothe the leaders of the youth summer camp retreat with an attitude of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.  May leaders model openness, honesty, service, and encouragement.  AMEN

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6th

Father, help us to recognize Your Spirit and willingly follow.  May all who are a part of the youth summer camp retreat experience true worship — a personal, life-changing encounter with the living God.  We pray for the band as they prepare and lead.  AMEN

THURSDAY, JULY 7th

Father God, thank you for providing a way for us to be with You and understand a FULL life.  We pray for those that those who do not personally know You clearly hear, see, & respond to the truth about You.  We pray for safety as the group travels and gets set up.  AMEN

FRIDAY, JULY 8th

Jesus, we praise You that the spiritual battle is not ours.  We pray that we recognize any obstacles that have a stronghold on us and are keeping us away from a closer walk with You.  May we give the Holy Spirit freedom to move.  “Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8) AMEN

SATURDAY, JULY 9th

Father, I pray that you rise up a new generation of student spiritual leaders that will be able to serve You with “reckless abandon” independent of people or programs.  Give us a passion for prayer and a fresh hunger and thirst for Your Word.  May the words of [our] mouth and the meditation of [our] heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, [our] Rock and [our] Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)  AMEN

SUNDAY, JULY 10th

Lord, we thank you for Your grace and mercy.  May the work that You began in us glorify Your Name and be “lived out” in front of our friends and family.  Lord, we seek your protection as we travel and are away from our families.  May your Word… “burn in my heart like a fire… like a fire in my bones! [so that] I am weary of holding it in!” (Jeremiah 20:9)   AMEN

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!
